Player Code of Conduct:
- Respect: Treat coaches, teammates, opponents, and officials with courtesy and respect.
- Sportsmanship: Demonstrate good sportsmanship, including modesty in victory and grace in defeat.
- Follow Rules: Adhere to the rules of the game and the league’s policies.
- Positive Attitude: Maintain a positive attitude and avoid negative behavior.
- Safety: Prioritize safety and follow all safety guidelines.
- Focus on Fun: Remember that youth sports are primarily for fun and development.
Parent Code of Conduct:
- Supportive Role: Be a positive role model and support your child and the team.
- Respect Boundaries: Allow coaches to coach and avoid interfering with their instructions.
- Focus on Effort: Emphasize effort and skill development over winning.
- Positive Spectator: Cheer positively for all players and refrain from negative comments or actions.
- Resolve Concerns Respectfully: Address any concerns with coaches privately and respectfully.
Coach Code of Conduct:
- Professionalism: Conduct themselves professionally and ethically.
- Fair Play: Promote fair play and sportsmanship among players.
- Positive Environment: Create a positive and supportive environment for all players.
- Open Communication: Maintain open communication with players and parents.
- Respect Officials: Respect the decisions of game officials.
Common Violations and Disciplinary Actions:
- Verbal or physical abuse: This includes yelling, name-calling, or physical altercations.
- Unsportsmanlike conduct: This includes taunting, excessive arguing with officials, or disrespecting opponents.
- Coaching from the sidelines: This includes yelling instructions at players during games.
- Disregarding rules: This includes intentionally breaking rules or safety guidelines.
- Social media violations: This includes posting negative comments about players, coaches, or the organization.
